Awarded by ProQual Awarding Body, regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The specification is also approved by CCEA for use by centres in Northern Ireland.

Competence-based and internally assessed by an experienced, qualified assessor. You build a portfolio of evidence covering every learning outcome and assessment criterion. Evidence can include assessor observation reports, assignments and reports, professional discussion, witness testimony, work products, worksheets, oral and written questioning, and recognition of prior learning.
